Scott and Donna Colton

FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED BY A HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM OF NURSES

With over 50 years of combined experience, Colton Senior Care Advisors offers unparalleled support.

What Makes Us Different

To start, you have to understand the reason to place someone in a facility rather than take care of them at home. When you don’t have or can’t afford an in - home caregiver or when you have the declining physical and/or mental health of the primary care giver; (usually a family member) Placement is appropriate.

By law, anybody can call themselves an advisor or consultant for seniors that need placement in a care facility, some even brag about the certifications you can get to give someone with minimal medical knowledge an illusion of competency when most of these advisors are part of a growing internet and franchise business model that tries to place the person without even evaluating the person by a nurse and collect a commission from the facility. They brag about their placement services being free to the family but they are not free to the accepting facility and the decision to pay for a referral as well as the appropriate assessment of the care matrix liability can weigh heavily on whether they will accept a resident as well as the cost for care.

We are different in the fact that we are not part of an internet or franchise company and we are experts in care assessments and planning.

We are family owned and operated by nurses that each have over 25 years of experience as both owners and operators of Alzheimer's Assisted Living Facilities specializing in mobility and memory impairments. We are different in that we only allow NURSES to evaluate and manage the care of our clients. We can provide much more than just expert assessment and appropriate placement, we have the skill sets to make sure the promised care and services are being appropriately provided by following the resident free of charge for at least the first month and longer if requested to insure the placement has gone smoothly and to communicate to loved ones with reports and video on the success of the placement and care plan.
